To help protect from community-associated infection of COVID-19 transmission to residents of our facility, at the advice of our Medical Providers,
at this time we will be prohibiting visitors from entering the facility as we are making every effort to protect our residents and your loved ones.
The skills of uniquely qualified physicians and nurses, therapists and other team members is just what is needed to get you from our home to your home- even better.
It happens. An injury or acute illness finds you or a family member in the hospital. And while everything turns out fine, sometimes, before you or your family member can return home, there is a need for support, retraining and rehabilitation to help regain strength, mobility, communication skills and overall independence for life's daily activities.
Occupational Therapy: provides resident-centered evaluations to identify strengths and barriers to the independent performance of activities of daily living. Occupational therapists provide intervention in many areas of occupation including: bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, self care, home and financial management, rest and sleep, management of adaptive equipment, education, community integration and social participation.
Physical Therapy: works closely with the residents to help them improve their functional abilities and enhance independence. Treatments may include flexibility therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and pain management techniques. Physical therapists are also trained in the use of physical agents and modalities to address pain, contractures, neuromuscular reeducation and muscular injuries.
Speech And Language Therapy specializes in the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders and swallowing disorders. They may also provide vital stimulation which is an adjunctive modality to traditional exercise that unites the power of electrical stimulation with the benefits of swallowing exercises.
Our therapists participate in regular clinical excellence training programs that improve their knowledge and skills in Neurologic, Orthopedic, Cardiac, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Wound Rehabilitation. They are experienced in managing medically complex patients to ensure that interventions are evidence based and individualized for the clinical needs of each resident. We focus on promoting your health, wellness, quality of life, and independence.
We are the leaders in clinically complex and intensive integrated therapies and nursing care.
